Casey Marin, CEO of LSC

Casey brings more than 12 years of experience as an educator, consistently earning ratings of “highly effective”. Casey also holds a Master’s degree in Happiness Studies from the Happiness Studies Academy, completed under the guidance of Tal Ben-Shahar in partnership with Centenary University.

Casey’s work has consistently centered around one guiding question: how to prepare students not just academically, but also emotionally and psychologically for life.

To address this, Casey designed and successfully gained school board approval for a high school Positive Psychology elective—an uncommon step in public education—and has taught the course for the past seven years. Through this work, Casey has translated Positive Psychology from theory into real classroom practice, helping students develop emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-awareness in meaningful, applied ways.

In addition to classroom teaching, Casey brings extensive experience leading professional development for teachers, staff, and administrators, as well as supporting curriculum implementation and helping educators integrate these principles into their daily practice.

Today, Casey’s work through Life School Collective focuses on partnering with schools to design and implement practical, evidence-based well-being programs that are both sustainable and impactful, effectively bridging the gap between research in Positive Psychology and the realities of the classroom.
